Woolfest 2012 will be held on Friday 22 June 10am-6pm and Saturday 23 June 10am-5pm at Mitchell's Lakeland Livestock Centre, Cockermouth, Cumbria CA13 0QQ.
Entrance costs £6 per day. No concessions. Accompanied children free

Crafty Contributions
Woolfest has a tradition of encouraging visitors to make or create something either before or during the event.
- Bunting - we made a fantastic start in 2010 and were overwhelmed by everyone's continuing support in 2011- we now have 145 metres of bunting. We are hoping to create a length of bunting that might eventually be able to encircle the venue (we're half way there!) so we'd be delighted if you brought some contributions next year. Dimensions and a knitting pattern are available here and there is also a crochet pattern but visitors are encouraged to weave, sew, felt or create their own contribution to the bunting in whatever textile craft they like - and the more colourful, the better. Then bring it along to The Wool Clip area at Woolfest.
