Carolyn with Jane Rawl<mce:script type=Carolyn Rawlinson Memorial Stall

Every year at Woolfest, we offer a stall to a worker in wool who has recently started in business, in memory of Carolyn, our colleague, friend and co-founder of The Wool Clip, whose vision and inspiration led to Woolfest.

Previous recipients of this free stall and showcase have included Jane Rawling for her innovative Herdwick wool coats and Naomi Harrison with her modern Linton tweed clothing designs. In 2009 it was offered to Daniela Kloppmann, a young spinner, dyer and felter from North Yorkshire and the 2010 stall was awarded to Emma Dolan from Leeds who handcrafts decorative teacups and saucers using classic design styles and fabrics. We were delighted to welcome both Daniella and Emma to Woolfest 2011 as stallholders displaying their flourishing new businesses.
