Animals at Woolfest
Woolfest is known for its fine display of fibre producing animals including several rare breeds, local Cumbrian fell sheep breeds and plenty of experts, farmers and breeders to talk to too.
We are very grateful to Peter Titley and Cathy Cassie who will be coming along again this year to give talks and demonstartions.
Sheep breeds attending Woolfest 2013 will be:
Hebridean, Ryeland, Coloured Ryeland, Jacob, Herdwick, Wensleydale, Teeswater, Shetland, Gotland, North Ronaldsay, Manx Loagthan and an information display by the Coloured Sheep Breeders (no animals).
Also alpacas, cashmere goats and angora rabbits will be there.

We love having fleece animals at the event and they are always a big draw, especially for families.
