Even among the food stalls and facilities at Woolfest, there'll be a few new faces among the more familiar ones.
The Fairfield Restaurant (the regulars at Mitchell's Lakeland Livestock Centre) will be open throughout both days and may even extend into the Marquee area. Also in the Marquee will be Indian Delights, Deer & Dexter, Amazing Grazing (so that's all the meat-eaters sorted) and, new for this year, Dough Rollers woodfired pizzas. Also look out for Smart Coffee in the Marquee too.
In The Square, there'll be fresh coffee from The Square Orange and a variety of salads, vegetarian options, cakes and wonderful tray bakes from The Watermill Cafe (The Wool Clip's Caldbeck neighbours). Somewhere in or around the Square there'll also be a new ice cream seller. Claire Bland has been making Jersey Ice Cream at Abbott Lodge near Penrith for about 15 years and she's bringing a selection of flavours to Woolfest.
Finally, if you're at the other end of Woolfest and need a sit down with a coffee, The Square Orange are also planning to have a cart down in Area K as usual.
Just one more point about catering at Woolfest. We know that some visitors will be on a budget (or keeping their cash for adding to their stash or treating themselves to something unique) so you're welcome to eat your own picnic in or around the event, as long as you're away from livestock. As well as seating in the Marquee, the Square and Area K, you're also welcome to sit in the Main Ring or the Small Ring.
